The Milwaukee Brewers reportedly avoided arbitration with five of their six arbitration-eligible players on Thursday, as the team reported deals were reached with Garrett Mitchell, Brice Turang, Andrew Vaughn, Trevor Megill, and \u00c1ngel\u00a0Zerpa.<\/p>\n
The only player of the six arb-eligible players not to reach a deal is catcher William Contreras, who is likely headed for an arbitration hearing, per Mark Feinsand.<\/p>\n
Per reports from Robert Murray, Adam McCalvy, and Ari Alexander, the contracts agreed to are as follows:<\/p>\n

Garrett Mitchell: $950,000 (projected $1 million by MLB Trade Rumors)<\/p>\n
Trevor Megill: $4.7 million (projected $4.2 million)<\/p>\n
Brice Turang: $4.15 million (projected $4.4 million)<\/p>\n
Andrew Vaughn: $7.65 million (projected $7.8 million)<\/p>\n
\u00c1ngel\u00a0Zerpa: $1.095 million (projected $1.2 million)<\/p>\n
Jake Bauers previously reached an agreement with Milwaukee in November, agreeing to a $2.7 million contract after he was projected to earn $2 million.<\/p>\n
Contreras was previously projected to earn $11.1 million in arbitration. After the Brewers declined his club option for $12 million back in November, he received a $100,000 buyout. That means any contract under $11.9 million technically saves the team money, though we\u2019ll see how that ultimately plays out when they have an arbitration hearing in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
UPDATE: Contreras reportedly filed at $9.9 million while the Brewers filed at $8.55 million. Contreras also tweeted his reaction.
