{"id":515817,"date":"2026-01-11T21:54:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T21:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/515817\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T21:54:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T21:54:12","slug":"braves-bolster-bullpen-by-signing-right-hander-tyler-kinley-to-4-25m-1-year-deal-mlb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/515817\/","title":{"rendered":"Braves bolster bullpen by signing right-hander Tyler Kinley to $4.25M, 1-year deal | MLB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATLANTA (AP) \u2014 The Atlanta Braves signed right-hander Tyler Kinley on Saturday to a $4.25 million, one-year contract that incudes a 2027 club option, keeping up their offseason work on their bullpen.<\/p>\n<p>Kinley gets a $3 million salary this year, and the Braves have a $5.5 million option with a $1.25 million buyout.<\/p>\n<p>Kinley, 34, was 5-0 with a 0.72 ERA in 25 innings with Atlanta last season after he was acquired from Colorado on July 30.<\/p>\n<p>The deal with Kinley comes after the Braves signed two-time All-Star <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/robert-suarez-braves-contract-e2df5ab48036fbe980e7f42627e94ad2?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Robert Suarez<\/a> to a $45 million, three-year contract and re-signed closer Raisel Iglesias to a $16 million, one-year deal.<\/p>\n<p>In eight major league seasons with the Braves, Rockies and Miami Marlins, Kinley has a 19-14 record and 4.75 ERA.
