I like what both of them could bring to the Yankees in the future, but the future is the future. The Yankees need to try to win right now.<\/p>\n<p>Peralta is a rental, so I get the worries, but we\u2019re talking about a starter who could come in and really put this team over the top. That\u2019s the type of pitcher contenders pay for and it\u2019s usually well worth it.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Lagrange and Rodriguez fit what Milwaukee typically targets in trades. Both are young, projectable arms and should fit in well for a team that\u2019s always competitive.<\/p>\n<p>From New York\u2019s perspective, this is exactly the kind of move good teams make. The Yankees have a ton of pitching depth in the farm system, but prospects don\u2019t win in October.
