The Chicago Cubs<\/a> dominated headlines last week, completing a trade with the Miami Marlins for talented right-handed pitcher Edward Cabrera and committing a five-year, $175 million contract<\/a> to three-time All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman. Fans are waiting to see if president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer will make another big move before offseason\u2019s end, but the front office is staying active on Tuesday<\/a>. Chicago claimed outfielder Justin Dean off waivers from the San Francisco Giants, per the team\u2019s X account.<\/p>\n
