PHOENIX (AZFamily) \u2014 Police announced Wednesday that a man is now in a Phoenix jail after investigators said he killed a woman whose body was found in baseball fields in Ahwatukee more than a year ago.<\/p>\n

Officers said 20-year-old Jayden Frost was extradited to Arizona from Ohio and booked into jail on Dec. 31. No other information was released.<\/p>\n

On Dec. 7, 2024, police said they found the body of 21-year-old Margaret Williams in the fields at Sun Ray Park on Ray Road near 40th Street<\/a> about 7 a.m. <\/p>\n

Investigators said initially there were no signs of trauma but two months later, the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner<\/a> ruled the death a homicide after conducting an autopsy.<\/p>\n

Police did not say how they tracked Frost down out of state, but he was booked on at least one murder charge. He\u2019s being held on a $100,000 bond.<\/p>\n
