Folks, we are officially less than a month away from starting to hear the crack of the bat and baseballs hitting mitts once again. It\u2019ll be here before you know it, as Major League Baseball has officially revealed via press release the first workout dates for every team in baseball.<\/p>\n
As the title mentioned, pitchers and catchers for the Braves will have their first workout on February 10, which means that they\u2019ll be reporting on the day before. Since the World Baseball Classic is set to begin in March, MLB has also stated that any pitchers and catchers must report to their respective clubs by no later than February 11 and the rest of the WBC players will have until February 12 to report as well.<\/p>\n
As far as the Braves are concerned, if it\u2019s anything like recent seasons in the past then we\u2019ll more-than-likely see a fair number of position players reporting for camp at the same time as pitchers and catchers do, so that\u2019ll be something to look forward to with the regular season on the horizon. The first full-squad workout for the Braves is scheduled for February 15 and then six days after that, the Braves will play their first Grapefruit League game of 2026 against the Rays at Charlotte Sports Park. February 22 will see the Braves open up their home portion of the Grapefruit League with a game against the Twins at CoolToday Park in North Port.<\/p>\n
There you have it, folks \u2014 you know have some dates to circle on your calendar for next month.
