Over the course of the last week, the Rockies have done the following:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As Skyler Timmins noted today,<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Add to all that, the Rockies front office is routinely communicating with media. Last week, Paul DePodesta and Josh Byrnes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2026\/01\/14\/paul-depodesta-josh-byrnes-job-difference-rockies\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:answered an email from Patrick Saunders;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">answered an email from Patrick Saunders<\/a> conveying a reader\u2019s question about the front office structure. Earlier today, DePodesta and Michael Lorenzen spoke to media via Zoom. (Look for more on that in the coming days.)<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Based on what the Rockies have said, they\u2019re not done yet, and adding at least one more veteran starter is in the works.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Whew!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">One thing\u2019s for sure: It\u2019s not your parents\u2019 Colorado Rockies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">So, let\u2019s do a pre-spring training evaluation.
