ROCHESTER, N.Y. \u2014 The Rochester Knighthawks honored Brighton High School graduate and Toronto Blue Jays star Ernie Clement Saturday.<\/p>\n
The star met the Knighthawks coaches and players during the team\u2019s morning practice. He also signed autographs and participated in a jersey swap with Knighthawks forward Ryan Lanchbury,<\/p>\n
\u201cRochester is home for me, and this community is so special,\u201d said Clement. \u201cTo get an opportunity to come hangout and just be embraced by this community it means the world to me because this is home and I love the people here.\u201d <\/p>\n
Clement made history with a record-setting World Series performance, achieving 30 hits in one postseason. He also set a Blue Jays\u2019 playoff record with a 13-game hitting streak.<\/p>\n
