href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/news\/elly-de-la-cruz-turned-down-reds-contract\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Manny Randhawa from MLB.com;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Manny Randhawa from MLB.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He opted to decline the offer as he stays with the Reds and builds his career until he reaches arbitration eligibility in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe engaged in Spring Training of 2025 and presented an offer,\u201d Reds president of baseball operations Nick Krall told MLB.com on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Krall said the offer would have been the largest contract in Red\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>The current largest contract in Reds\u2019 history is former first baseman Joey Votto\u2019s 10 year contract, which was a $225 million deal in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Juan Soto currently holds the MLB\u2019s contract record when he signed a 15-year, $765 million deal with the
