No matter the position out there, the Royals ranked near the bottom of the league in OPS. Strahm and Mears fit in the bullpen, as the team traded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4705673\/angel-zerpa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Angel Zerpa<\/a> for Collins (and Mears) but lost oft-injured reliever <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/33191\/hunter-harvey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hunter Harvey<\/a> to free agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1teeyfa8 ls9zuh1\">What they still need to do: The Royals\u2019 task hasn\u2019t changed: attempting to find more offense to put around all-world player <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/42403\/bobby-witt-jr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bobby Witt Jr<\/a>. It\u2019s likely to come via a trade rather than any of the free agents left on the market. The team might still add to the bullpen, but there has been quite the roster churn for Kansas City so far.
