The southpaw isn\u2019t the sort of arm who will rack up the strikeouts, but depends on the ground ball for success. Enmanuel Pinales had the best start of his brief Missions\u2019 tenure, holding the Wind Surge at bay over the first five innings before allowing a pair of runs in the sixth. Despite the two runs allowed, Pinales was flat-out dominant, allowing just five hits and one walk. The decrease in walks was the most notable development, as when Pinales limits the walks, he has ace-like stuff that can bewilder opposing batters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Missions\u2019 lineup surged through in the sixth inning, forcing across the decisive five-spot on the score sheet. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/register\/player.fcgi?id=gomez-002moi&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=eastvillagetimes.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-05-25_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Moises Gomez<\/a> doubled to open the frame, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/register\/player.fcgi?id=sanabr000rom&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=eastvillagetimes.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-05-25_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Romeo Sanabria<\/a> reached on an error before Marcos Castanon\u2019s double tied the game. Lowe walked four in the game, which did not bode well, as one of those runners came around to score. The team\u2019s defense did not help Lowe in this regard, as a pair of fourth-inning errors led to three runs.
