The Phillies announced Thursday that infielder-outfielder Weston Wilson was claimed off waivers by the\u00a0Baltimore Orioles.<\/p>\n
Wilson, 31, spent parts of his first three Major League seasons with Philadelphia. Across 100 games with the club, the utility man slashed .242\/.328\/.428, tallying 20 extra-base hits.<\/p>\n
Wilson initially joined the Phillies on a minor-league contract in January 2023 and began receiving more consistent playing time in 2024, when he appeared in 40 games. <\/p>\n
That season, he posted an .836 OPS across 98 plate appearances.<\/p>\n
