His new contract will add four years and $106 million to his existing deal when finalized.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jos\u00e9 Ramirez\u2019s restructured contract with the Guardians includes annual salaries of $25 million from 2026 to \u201832, with $10 deferred each year, per source.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ken_Rosenthal\/status\/2015106761095553340?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">January 24, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to The Athletic\u2019s Ken Rosenthal, Ramirez\u2019s new contract pays him annual salaries of $25 million per season with $10 million deferred. It also includes private jet usage and doubles the payout he would receive upon winning any awards from his previous contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ramirez and the Guardians previously reached a five-year, $124 million extension in 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 33-year-old is as consistent as they come and had another strong season for Cleveland in 2025. He slashed .283\/.360\/.503 with 30 home runs, 85 RBI and made the All-Star Team for the fifth season in a row.
