The New York Mets<\/a> have acquired two-time All-Star starter Freddy Peralta<\/a> and pitcher Tobias Myers<\/a> from the Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> in exchange for prospects Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat<\/a>, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n

Peralta started 33 games last season for the Brewers and posted a 17-6 record with a 2.70 ERA and 204 strikeouts in 176.2 innings.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has spent his entire eight-year MLB career with the Brewers since debuting with them in 2018.<\/p>\n

The Moca, Dominican Republic native was selected to the MLB All-Star game in 2021 and 2025.<\/p>\n

The Mets have been active this off season, adding former Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette<\/a> on a three-year, $126 million deal and swinging a trade for Chicago White Sox<\/a> outfielder Luis Robert Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n
