{"id":538031,"date":"2026-01-25T20:17:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T20:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/538031\/"},"modified":"2026-01-25T20:17:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T20:17:13","slug":"toronto-blue-jays-sign-pitcher-connor-seabold-to-minor-league-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/538031\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto Blue Jays sign pitcher Connor Seabold to minor-league deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/toronto-blue-jays\/238\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/toronto-blue-jays\/238\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> have signed right-hander <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/connor-seabold\/829464\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/connor-seabold\/829464\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Seabold<\/a> to a minor-league deal, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/player\/connor-seabold-657756\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/player\/connor-seabold-657756\">according to MLB.com\u2019s transactions page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto then assigned him to the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 30-year-old split last season between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/tampa-bay-rays\/254\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/tampa-bay-rays\/254\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay Rays<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/atlanta-braves\/239\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/atlanta-braves\/239\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Braves<\/a>, pitching in a combined seven games with a 4.35 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 10.1 innings. He began 2025 with the Rays and was selected off waivers by the Braves in August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Seabold has also pitched for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/boston-red-sox\/226\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/boston-red-sox\/226\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Red Sox<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/colorado-rockies\/251\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/colorado-rockies\/251\" target=\"_blank\">Colorado Rockies<\/a> at the big-league level.
