{"id":538640,"date":"2026-01-26T08:30:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T08:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/538640\/"},"modified":"2026-01-26T08:30:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-26T08:30:13","slug":"jung-hoo-lee-shares-favorite-part-of-giants-south-korea-visit-nbc-sports-bay-area-california","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/538640\/","title":{"rendered":"Jung Hoo Lee shares favorite part of Giants\u2019 South Korea visit \u2013 NBC Sports Bay Area &#038; California"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/l\/leeju01.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jung Hoo Lee<\/a> loved giving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/mlb\/san-francisco-giants\/jung-hoo-lee-tony-vitello\/1905666\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a large contingent<\/a> of Giants players, coaches and executives a tour of his home country, South Korea, earlier in January.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the big-time San Francisco names to make the trip were new manager <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/bullpen\/Tony_Vitello\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tony Vitello<\/a>, shortstop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/a\/adamewi01.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Willy Adames<\/a> and executives such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/p\/poseybu01.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Buster Posey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/giants\/team\/front-office\/zack-minasian\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zack Minasian<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/giants\/team\/front-office\/larry-baer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Larry Baer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the Giants\u2019 FanFest event in San Ramon on Saturday, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/mlb\/san-francisco-giants\/jung-hoo-lee-detained-airport-papers\/1909487\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">challenging for Lee to attend<\/a>, the third-year outfielder told reporters about his favorite part of the team-bonding experience on his home turf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was super surprising &#8212; and honestly, really surprising &#8212; to see that support from my teammates and coaches, and obviously, really great to get off to a great foot there,\u201d Lee said through a translator. \u201cSo, [I\u2019m] excited to build on those relationships this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, the whole trip stands out to me,\u201d Lee added. \u201cIt\u2019s something that I won\u2019t forget for the rest of my life.
