Sanchez did not play in 2025, but appeared in 14 games for the Jays\u2019 Triple-A affiliates, the Buffalo Bisons, in 2024. He went 3-6 with a 7.92 earned run average and WHIP of 1.679 over 61.1 innings pitched.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The native of Bristow, CA is currently competing in the Dominican Winter League with Toros del Este. In eight starts, Sanchez is 4-2 with a 1.55 ERA and 0.950 WHIP over 46.1 innings pitched. He\u2019s struck out 34 batters and walked nine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Making his big league debut in 2014, Sanchez went on to make 146 appearances for the Blue Jays over six seasons and was an All-Star in 2016 when he was 15-2 with an American League-leading 3.00 ERA. He was traded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/houston-astros\/242\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/houston-astros\/242\" target=\"_blank\">Houston Astros<\/a> in 2019 and also spent time with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/washington-nationals\/244\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/washington-nationals\/244\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Nationals<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In a career 174 appearances for the Jays, Astros, Giants, Nats and Twins, Sanchez is 38-38 with a 4.16 ERA and 1.378 WHIP over 685.0 IP.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Aaron Sanchez\u2019s potential return to Major League Baseball goes through Missouri.
