Harrison Bader<\/a> already is the perfect Giant.<\/a><\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

He’s eager and ready to go head-to-head with San Francisco’s biggest rival and the two-time defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.<\/p>\n

“Listen, it’s a great division. I think the biggest thing with that is just taking it one game at a time. Doing your research, trusting it, being OK with being wrong,” Bader said on “The Max Mannis Pod.” “The one that stands out are the Dodgers, which is awesome. I think it just gives you an opportunity to go out and compete against some of the best players in baseball — and that’s awesome. Dive into that energy, have a game plan and trust it. Go out there and execute. That’s really all there is to it. <\/p>\n

“It’s certainly going to take a team effort to win those games, but just being able to compete at the level is going to be awesome. I love playing in LA. I love playing against the best in the world. They certainly have a bunch of those. And it’s a challenge for when it comes because it’s coming in hot in April. So I’m going to do my part, play my game and do my best to help my team win.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

San Francisco agreed to a two-year free-agent contract with Bader<\/a> on Monday, and the 31-year-old outfielder already is licking his lips about partaking in a historic rivalry.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles, coming off its second consecutive World Series title, has a real shot to “3-peat” after signing four-time MLB All-Star Kyle Tucker and three-time MLB All-Star Edwin D\u00edaz this offseason.<\/p>\n

But Bader isn’t threatened. <\/p>\n

Rather, he’s motivated by going up against the best in the game.<\/p>\n

And anyone eager to beat the Dodgers is a welcome Giant<\/a>, any and every day.<\/p>\n
