The Chicago White Sox have agreed to a free-agent deal with pitcher Seranthony Dom\u00ednguez, the team announced Thursday.<\/p>\n
According to the White Sox, the deal will pay Dom\u00ednguez $20 million over two seasons, and includes a mutual option for the 2028 season.<\/p>\n
To make room for Dom\u00ednguez on the 40-man roster, the White Sox have designated Bryan Ramos for assignment.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old Dom\u00ednguez spent the 2025 season with the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays, totaling 67 appearances between the two clubs. He posted a 4-4 record and a 3.16 ERA in those appearances, with 79 strikeouts and 36 walks.<\/p>\n
Dom\u00ednguez made a big impact on the World Series for the Blue Jays, pitching five times and allowing just two hits and one earned run in those appearances.<\/p>\n
Now, Dom\u00ednguez will be a key contributor to a White Sox bullpen that has also added Sean Newcomb during the offseason, and he\u2019ll be hoping to lead the team forward after back-to-back tough seasons on the South Side.<\/p>\n
