He joined the Astros organization in 2020 and managed two seasons in the Florida Complex League. Before his time with the Hooks, Rivera led the Astros\u2019 Class A affiliate in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A native of Dorado, Puerto Rico, Rivera played college baseball at Northeastern Oklahoma A&amp;M and Central Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Bell and Bardales also return to the Double-A staff and will begin their third season in Corpus Christi. Kevin Rivera is set for his second year with the Hooks. Wilkins spent last season as pitching coach at High-A Asheville after two years with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers.
