The Minnesota Twins’ starting rotation is going to be better than you might think<\/a>. There’s still hope that the franchise will add another arm<\/a>, but even if they don’t, there is some solid talent on this part of the roster.<\/p>\n

And if you’re a fantasy baseball fan, on top of rooting for the Twins, then FanGraph’s projections should make you pretty happy.<\/a> The site has four Minnesota pitchers among the Top 100 list for the 2026 season. That’s better than we have anticipated.<\/p>\n

No. 18: Joe Ryan<\/p>\n

This was an easy one. Ryan was one of the best pitchers in the American League in 2025 en route to his first All-Star Game. If he can hand in another healthy campaign, then expect for Ryan’s production towards the top of the leaderboard. Obviously, if his fantasy output is strong, then his actual value on the field will follow – and hopefully turning into Twins wins.<\/p>\n

No. 38: Pablo Lopez<\/p>\n

We saw some really solid outings from Lopez in 2025, it’s just that injuries derailed what could have been an All-Star campaign. The 2025 season is in the rearview mirror and a good chunk of Minnesota’s success will ride on how strong Lopez will be.<\/p>\n

No. 91: Zebby Matthews<\/p>\n

Matthews had a back and forth 2025 season due to consistency issues, but he is always a strong pickup on waivers in fantasy. Matthews has a strong chase and whiff rate thanks to a hefty fastball. If he can find a way to limit the home runs on his fastball, fans can definitely enjoy an improved 2026 for Matthews.<\/p>\n

No. 96: Bailey Ober<\/p>\n

Several metrics suggest that Ober will be much better than the 96th best starter. He has a disgusting changeup, but it is just a matter of finding a fluid sequence to use that as his wipeout pitch. Either way, Ober being considered a Top 100 arm as the Twins’ third or fourth man in the order could spell out more success in 2026.<\/p>\n

Taj Bradley was also mentioned by FanGraphs at No. 145 and Simeon Woods Richardson was ranked No. 155.<\/p>\n
