The Dodgers did not have anyone included on the rankings at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/dodgers\/onsi\/news\/mlb-top-10-second-basemen-right-now-dodgers-snubbed-by-the-shredder-for-2026-01kg0c2e5zhf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">second base<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/dodgers\/onsi\/mlb-top-10-left-fielders-right-now-teoscar-hernandez-overlooked-01kg1chvnh7x\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">left field<\/a>, while only Yoshinobu Yamamoto made the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/dodgers\/onsi\/news\/mlb-top-10-starting-pitchers-right-now-yoshinobu-yamamoto-dodgers-selection-01kg3mm4kdgn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">list of the best starting pitchers<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/dodgers\/onsi\/news\/mlb-top-10-shortstops-right-now-2026-mookie-betts-ranked-01kg647gtb9e\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mookie Betts was named<\/a> the No. 5 shortstop.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Pages debuts on The Shredder<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6s\">Pages was ranked sixth among the top center fielders in baseball. This year marked his first time appearing on The Shredder&#8217;s list. Pages additionally was ranked sixth by analyst and former center fielder Chris Young.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6v\">Pages showed some encouraging signs during his debut season in 2024 before taking a step forward last year. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6y\">Pages&#8217; emergence provided the Dodgers with a needed power threat from the right side and he began to receive consideration for a first career All-Star Game selection after emerging from a prolonged slump.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"71\">\u201cHe\u2019s just really swinging the bat well. Confidence is a big thing, and he\u2019s playing with a lot of confidence. He is playing like an All-Star,\u201d Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said last June.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"74\">Pages fell short in All-Star Game voting and was skipped over among National League reserves. He nevertheless finished the season with career highs in doubles (27), home runs (27), RBI (86) and total bases (268).<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-10\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"77\">There were some growing pains defensively as Pages continued to learn playing center field on the fly. His +12 Fielding Run Value in the outfield was fifth-best and Pages&#8217; arm strength ranked in the 98th percentile among all players. <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-11\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7a\">Pages&#8217; defensive ability and importance was on full display in Game 7 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Having been moved to the bench due to struggling offensively, Pages was inserted for defensive purposes and immediately made a running catch to keep the Dodgers alive.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-12\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7d\">The moment will live in Dodgers postseason lore, both because of its importance but also due to Pages running over Kik\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez in order to make catch.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-13\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7g\">Pages became the first Dodgers center fielder to get ranked by The Shredder since James Outman in 2024.
