Mandatory Credit: Kevin Sousa-Imagn Images

Los Angeles has not had the luxury of celebrating a World Series clincher in front of their home fans in over 40 years. Luckily, the Dodgers have been able to celebrate a parade the past two seasons, considering they weren’t able to when they won in 2020 after a 32-year drought.

The Dodgers have won nine titles in franchise history and will look for their 10th in 2026. L.A. has tremendous odds to do just that with a loaded roster from top to bottom.

Is Freddie Freeman Nearing Retirement?

Freeman is a major reason why the Dodgers are heavy favorites. The 36-year-old is still playing elite baseball, coming off a season in which he slashed .295/.367/.502 with a .869 OPS, along with 24 home runs and 90 RBIs in 627 plate appearances and 147 games.

The nine-time All-Star is soon to enter his fifth season in Los Angeles, and it’s been quite the journey. After a shaky exit from the Atlanta Braves, Freeman has found himself a new home where he is embraced.

The end is near for Freeman in his playing career, and he revealed a timeline during Fan Fest as well.

“I have two years left on this deal,” Freeman said. “I think 20 years would be pretty cool, so I guess I would put it at four more years.”

Freeman has two more years on his current deal, which runs through 2027.

LA Baseball Report

Get the app for faster news

GET ×

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar first baseman Freddie Freeman wants to complete the three-peat in front of the home…

[2406
5,39,815,1165,4332,4333,774,57,3224,4331,4
0":"post-552882","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-dodgers","8":"tag-baseball","9":"tag-dodgers","10":"tag-freddie-freeman","11":"tag-la","12":"tag-la-dodgers","13":"tag-ladodgers","14":"tag-los-angeles","15":"tag-los-angeles-dodgers","16":"tag-losangeles","17":"tag-losangelesdodgers","18":"tag-mlb
["GET
