Brandon Drury<\/a> is plotting a return to the majors with the Kansas City Royals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The team announced the signing of the veteran infielder-outfielder to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

We have signed INF Brandon Drury to a minor league contract with an invitation to Major League Spring Training.<\/p>\n

Drury, 33, did not play in the majors in 2025. He appeared in a combined 46 Triple-A games for the affiliates of the Chicago White Sox<\/a> and Los Angeles Angels<\/a>. Drury last appeared in the big leagues with the Halos in 2024. He appeared in 97 games, batting .169 with 55 hits, four home runs, 15 runs batted in and a .469 OPS. <\/p>\n

The 13th overall pick of the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft, Drury made his major league debut in 2015 as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a>. He\u2019s appeared in 867 games over 10 seasons with the D-Backs, New York Yankees<\/a>, Toronto Blue Jays<\/a>, New York Mets<\/a>, Cincinnati Reds<\/a>, San Diego Padres<\/a> and Angels.<\/p>\n

For his career, the Grants Pass, OR native is a .245 hitter with 713 hits, 109 home runs, 375 runs batted in and an OPS of .717.<\/p>\n
