Terrance Gore, the blazing outfielder who captured two World Series rings as a member of the Royals and Braves, died suddenly on Friday. He was 34 years old.<\/p>\n

Gore, an eight-year MLB veteran, appeared in 112 regular season contests, making his mark as a pinch runner during stints with four sides. Gore drew plaudits for his speed on the base paths, collecting 43 steals in his career.<\/p>\n

His game translated to postseason play, too. He tallied five steals and three runs (to just two plate appearances) in 11 career playoff games.<\/p>\n
