{"id":562628,"date":"2026-02-09T17:17:35","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T17:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/562628\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T17:17:35","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T17:17:35","slug":"which-offseason-decision-makes-giants-fans-nervous-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/562628\/","title":{"rendered":"Which offseason decision makes Giants fans nervous?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">Good morning, baseball fans!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As we approach Spring Training and the beginning of the season, we\u2019re going to be doing some questions for y\u2019all about your thoughts about the San Francisco Giants and baseball in general!<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Today\u2019s question: Which offseason decision makes you nervous?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">For me, it has to be the hiring of Tony Vitello. And I don\u2019t say that with any negative connotations about his past experience, or the likelihood of his success with the team. I\u2019m actually quite excited to see how well he does. He\u2019s just\u2026.new. Both to the organization and to MLB. And that\u2019s enough to make ya\u2019 nervous.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">I will say the organization has done a tremendous job of pre-emptively creating a support system for him. He\u2019s going to have a lot of legends around to provide advice and counsel and that\u2019s invaluable. So I think he\u2019s in good hands on that front.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">But any time there\u2019s a new manager, it\u2019s always going to leave me feeling at least a little nervous. But that\u2019s not necessarily a bad thing. That kind of nervousness can also tie with anticipation, curiosity, excitement. All of which are similar feelings that I have going into this season because of Vitello\u2019s signing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Which offseason decision makes you nervous?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Good morning, baseball fans!
