The Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> are back for a quick three-game homestand as they welcome the Boston Red Sox<\/a> to town beginning this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Ahead of today\u2019s game, the Brewers made a roster move on the pitching front, sending right-hander Logan Henderson back to Triple-A Nashville and reinstating lefty DL Hall from the 60-day injured list.<\/p>\n

While the move may come as a surprise to many given Henderson\u2019s strong start to his MLB career, it just goes to show how depleted Milwaukee\u2019s bullpen is. Hall is in his second season with Milwaukee after coming over from the Orioles in the Corbin Burnes trade. He made 13 appearances (seven starts) last year for the Crew, with a 5.02 ERA and 44 strikeouts across 43 innings.<\/p>\n

After suffering a lat sprain during spring training, he\u2019s missed the first two months of the season. He made four minor league appearances between the ACL Brewers and the Nashville Sounds, spanning 10 2\u20443 innings and allowing no runs on four hits, six walks, and striking out 15.<\/p>\n

Henderson, 23, made four MLB starts, with a sterling 1.71 ERA and 29 strikeouts across 21 innings. I\u2019d say it\u2019s pretty safe to see this isn\u2019t the last we\u2019ll see of him at the major league level.<\/p>\n

For today\u2019s game, fellow rookie Chad Patrick gets the start for Milwaukee opposite lefty ace Garrett Crochet for Boston.<\/p>\n

In the lineup today is a whole lotta righties. Jackson Chourio leads off, followed by the lone switch-hitter in Isaac Collins. William Contreras bats third as the DH, followed by Rhys Hoskins, Daz Cameron, and Caleb Durbin. Eric Haase, Joey Ortiz, and Andruw Monasterio fill the bottom third of the order.<\/p>\n
