The Los Angeles Dodgers signed All-Star third baseman Max Muncy to a one-year extension with an option for the 2028 season Thursday.<\/p>\n
Muncy\u2019s extension is worth $7 million in 2027, and the club option in 2028 is worth $10 million. The Dodgers picked up his $10 million option for the 2026 season earlier in the winter.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old third baseman expressed his desire to retire with the Dodgers during the regular season, but said he still has a few years left in him.<\/p>\n
