The Tampa Bay Rays will be well represented during the World Baseball Classic.<\/p>\n
The organization will have eight players representing their countries during the tournament:<\/p>\n

Jonathan Aranda and Junior Caminero are the most notable representatives from the Rays as both turned in All-Star seasons in 2025.<\/p>\n
Caminero in particular has been clamoring to play for the D.R., joking with manager Albert Pujols last Spring that he\u2019d happy just to be the water boy. After a breakout season, Caminero is much more likely to be the national team\u2019s designated hitter.<\/p>\n
Griffin Jax, meanwhile, says pitching for the USA team is the easiest decision he has ever made in his life; Jax is the first ever Air Force Academy graduate to reach the big leagues.<\/p>\n
Across the pond, two Rays pitching prospects will suit up for Great Britain as Owen Wild and Gary Gill Hill was pitch toe the rubber for king and country.<\/p>\n
The first chance to see a Rays rep in the games will be on Friday, March 6th when Great Britain takes on Mexico at 1:00pm ET; Team USA will play later that night.<\/p>\n
Teams will be divided into four pools. The top two teams from each pool will then advance to the quarter finals and play a series of single elimination games. The winners will advance to the semifinals and then eventually the championship game.<\/p>\n
