Bassitt, who will turn 37 on February 22nd, signed a one-year deal for a reported $18.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Bassitt, who has pitched for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays, is 83-65 with a 3.64 ERA. He was 11-9 with a 3.96 ERA in 32 games for the Blue Jays last season.<\/p>\n<p>He allowed a run on three hits in 8 2\/3 postseason innings, all in relief, last season.<\/p>\n<p>Bassitt\u2019s signing fills the Orioles\u2019 40-man roster.<\/p>\n<p>Call for questions: I answer Orioles questions most weekdays.
