Shelby Miller is joining the Chicago Cubs, according to a person familiar with the situation, after the pitcher had major elbow surgery in October.<\/p>\n
Miller has agreed to a $2.5 million, two-year contract with Chicago, said the person who spoke to The Associated Press on Friday on condition of anonymity because the agreement was pending a physical. The 35-year-old right-hander is expected to miss the 2026 season.<\/p>\n
