DETROIT \u2013 Fans of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings are finally learning how they\u2019ll be able to watch their teams during the upcoming seasons.<\/p>\n
With regional sports networks like FanDuel Sports Network facing uncertainty, the broadcasting plans for teams like the Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons have been in flux.<\/p>\n
On Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, Ilitch Sports + Entertainment announced their plans for the Tigers and Red Wings.<\/p>\n
The company entered into an agreement with Major League Baseball to broadcast games for both the Tigers and the Red Wings.<\/p>\n
This deal starts for the 2026 season for the Tigers and the 2026-2027 season for the Red Wings. The Wings are expected to stay on FanDuel Sports Network for the rest of this current season.<\/p>\n
Fans in the home television territories for these teams, which includes the full state of Michigan, will be able to watch the Tigers and Red Wings via the same options as before: cable, satellite, and streaming, according to the release.<\/p>\n
More specific information about where to find the games with cable or satellite providers, as well as streaming subscriptions, will be released later, the release says.<\/p>\n

For the Tigers, Jason Benetti, Dan Dickerson, Andy Dirks, and Dan Petry are expected back for the 2026 season. MLB will lead broadcast production, distribution agreements, and streaming products.<\/p>\n
The Red Wings will make their transition into this partnership after the 2025-2026 season ends. Ilitch Sports + Entertainment will assume broadcast production duties, while MLB helps with production processes, the release says.<\/p>\n
Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond are expected to continue leading Red Wings telecasts for years to come, according to the release.<\/p>\n
