LOUIS \u2013 The parent company of FanDuel Sports Network, the former television partner of the St. Louis Cardinals, is expected to close its Ballpark Village office and lay off 25 workers, according to newly-filed Missouri state documents.<\/p>\n<p>Main Street Sports Group <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.mo.gov\/warn\/2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:issued a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">issued a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice<\/a> on Friday, informing state officials that its St. Louis office is preparing to close by April 14 and proceed with 25 layoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe entire facility will close, including remote workers. This action is expected to be permanent,\u201d said Meredith Powers, FanDuel Sports Network Chief Human Resources Officer, <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/attachments\/MODHEWD\/2026\/02\/13\/file_attachments\/3554439\/Main%20Street%20Sports%20Group,%20LLC%20WARN%20-%20St%20Louis.pdf]\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:in a letter to St. Louis government officials;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">in a letter to St. Louis government officials<\/a> on Friday over the WARN notice.<\/p>\n<p>The letter indicated layoffs across multiple departments, including production, marketing, directing, engineering and sales.<\/p>\n<p>Following the WARN notice, this statement was shared with FOX 2 on behalf of Main Street Sports Group CEO\u00a0David Preschlack:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFanDuel Sports Network is continuing to broadcast NBA and NHL games as we engage in discussions with our partners about our go-forward plans. While final decisions have not been made, we have issued WARN notices to employees, as required by law, in connection with potential workforce impacts that could occur in the coming months. Any and all aspects of the WARN notices can be revoked at any time. The move comes as Main Street Sports Group faces ongoing financial uncertainties, including the possibility of filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/articles\/cardinals-expect-20m-drop-tv-220835126.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:A Cardinals spokesperson previously told FOX 2;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A Cardinals spokesperson previously told FOX 2<\/a> that the franchise earned around $60 million annually under its previous regional TV deal. However, with the move to MLB.TV, that figure is now projected to drop by around $20 million, bringing this year\u2019s projected television revenue to around $40 million.<\/p>\n<p>The timing of Friday\u2019s WARN notice is not only notable for the Cardinals. FanDuel Sports Network is still scheduled to broadcast games for the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Billikens men\u2019s basketball team through the remainder of their regular season.
