Mandatory Credit: Rick Scuteri-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eQFXu7ZuZwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">an interview with Mets broadcaster Howie Rose<\/a>, Cohen has made the case that the team ultimately is better off with Bichette over Tucker.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h-frankly-once-it-was-all-done-and-we-got-bo-to-come-to-the-mets-i-actually-feel-bo-might-be-a-better-fit-for-the-team-said-cohen-as-reported-by-tim-britton-for-the-athletic-so-i-think-things-worked-out-for-the-best-players-support-the-dodgers-spending-strategy\">\u201cFrankly, once it was all done, and we got Bo to come to the Mets, (I) actually feel Bo might be a better fit for the team,\u201d said Cohen, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7045704\/2026\/02\/13\/mets-owner-steve-cohen-edwin-diazs-dodgers-free-agency-perplexing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">reported by Tim Britton for The Athletic<\/a>. \u201cSo I think things worked out for the best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Players Support the Dodgers\u2019 Spending Strategy<\/p>\n<p>While fans and owners of other teams might feel like the Dodgers are bad for baseball, current players \u2014 even those who face off against the Boys in Blue regularly \u2014 love what the team is doing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI f\u2014ing love it,\u201d San Diego Padre and former Dodger Manny Machado said of the Dodgers\u2019 spending. \u201cEvery team should be doing it. \u2026S\u2014 is f\u2014ing great for the game. So I think every team has the ability to do it, so I hope all 30 teams can learn from that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies echoed that sentiment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love what the Dodgers do, obviously,\u201d Harper said. \u201cThey pay the money, they spend the money. I mean, they\u2019re a great team. They understand how to run it. They run their team like a business, and they run it the right way.
