With <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/mlb\/st-louis-cardinals\/cardinals-news-yadier-molina-uniform-spring-training-wbc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Molina set to be in a Cardinals uniform<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/tag\/spring-training\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spring training<\/a> before the <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/tag\/world-baseball-classic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Baseball Classic<\/a>, as he&#8217;ll be the manager of Puerto Rico, he spoke Monday of how his schedule will work.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jeff Jones of The Belleville News-Democrat, Molina would say that he will be with St. Louis for a week in spring training, as he&#8217;ll obviously take off for the World Baseball Classic in managing Puerto Rico. He&#8217;ll come back to the team after the tourney is over, as he&#8217;ll be <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jmjones\/status\/2023463286013133117\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u201cin the dugout for several series.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYadier Molina says he plans to be in Cardinals camp for a week before taking off for the WBC, and he\u2019ll be returning once the tournament is over,\u201d Jones wrote on X, formerly Twitter. \u201cPlan is to be in St. Louis in the dugout for several series as he was last year, as well as trips out to the affiliates in season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yadier Molina&#8217;s role with the Cardinals to start 2026 revealed\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While the former <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/mlb\/st-louis-cardinals\/cardinals-news-yadier-molina-attention-catching-manager-declaration\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cardinals catcher in Molina will be the manager for Puerto Rico<\/a>, he will still have a role within the organization, one that also helps the team&#8217;s catchers and backstops. Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Sunday would report that manager Oli Marmol said Molina will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/sports\/professional\/mlb\/cardinals\/article_a61f32fb-51ef-4cb7-afb3-611cb3152b4b.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u201cin uniform for the first day of full-squad workouts.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore he manages Team Puerto Rico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, Cardinals icon Yadier Molina is expected to report Monday for Cardinals camp,\u201d Guerrero wrote. \u201cMolina will be in uniform for the first day of full-squad workouts, Cardinals manager Oli Marmol confirmed.
