{"id":577616,"date":"2026-02-17T14:48:20","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T14:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/577616\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T14:48:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T14:48:20","slug":"christian-yelich-addresses-doubts-about-the-brewers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/577616\/","title":{"rendered":"Christian Yelich addresses doubts about the Brewers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Christian Yelich doesn\u2019t pay much attention to projections, particularly those that have an unfavorable outlook for his Milwaukee Brewers.<\/p>\n<p>Amid an offseason that saw the Brewers lose some key talent, many believe Milwaukee is bound to suffer significant regression in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>For Yelich, though, that\u2019s nothing more than meaningless noise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, we just don\u2019t care. It\u2019s the same story every year, the former National League Most Valuable Player said, via <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Dom_Cotroneo\/status\/2023467324960018916\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dominic Cotroneo of 620 WTMJ<\/a>. \u201cSo we kind of ignore it and block it out \u2026 So go out and play and we\u2019ll see where we\u2019re at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Brewers have done an admirable job of defying expectations over at least the past few seasons.
