With the idea of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/arizona-diamondbacks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> potentially looking to trade Ketel Marte, some believe that there could be a potential trade to be made.<\/p>\n<p>In a trade idea from Mark Morales-Smith of Sports Illustrated, the Braves would acquire Marte from the Diamondbacks for Albies and more.<\/p>\n<p>Braves receive: Ketel Marte<\/p>\n<p>Diamondbacks receive: Albies, Hurston Waldrep\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlbies has been a very good Brave, but injuries have become an issue for him,\u201d Morales-Smith <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/onsi\/fantasy\/trade-analysis\/mlb-mock-trade-braves-deal-ozzie-albies-to-diamondbacks-for-ketel-marte\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Marte\u2019s offensive profile would give a different look to the Braves\u2019 lineup construction, as he\u2019s one of the better hitters in baseball.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarte brings more pop to the Braves lineup than they have gotten in a few years now from any middle infielders,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnless they believe that Nacho Alvarez is prepared to have a breakout season, they need an upgrade at the position, and they need more consistent offense after their disastrous 2025 season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Waldrep is really good and can be special in a few years, it&#8217;s tough to see a scenario where the Diamondbacks would make this trade.
