As detailed by Bianca Heyward of the California Post<\/a>, there\u2019s a house at 711 Bernard St. in the Elysian Park\/Chinatown area of Los Angeles that\u2019s \u201cjust a stone\u2019s throw from the gates of Dodger Stadium<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Living in that location would be \u201ca dream for baseball fans, provided they don\u2019t mind the stadium traffic,\u201d Heyward wrote.<\/p>\n

But given that notorious traffic, moving on foot might be faster, especially given the proximity.<\/p>\n

There Is One Catch<\/p>\n

While it might be nice to avoid the game day traffic, there is another car-related issue with the home.<\/p>\n

There is no parking spot or driveway, so if you have a car, you\u2019ll be forced to park on the street.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s where living near Dodger Stadium could be more of a headache than a blessing.<\/p>\n

Given the difficulty of parking in that area on game days<\/a>, it\u2019s unlikely the homeowner would be able to move their car, as whatever spot they left will almost definitely not be available upon their return.<\/p>\n

Do the Perks Outweigh the Parking Issues?<\/p>\n

The California Post notes that the property has a high transit score, so if you\u2019re without a personal vehicle and OK with using public transit and ride shares, this could be the spot for you.<\/p>\n

After all, with a house this close to Dodger Stadium and with a patio that\u2019s perfect for some celebrations before and after the game, you should be inviting people to your place.<\/p>\n

And though the two bedroom, one bathroom house isn\u2019t huge at 770 square feet, it is relatively affordable by Los Angeles standards.<\/p>\n
