The beloved dogs of two Los Angeles Dodgers got together recently for a playdate, and if the pictures are any indication, they had a great time.<\/p>\n

The cute images of Shohei Ohtani\u2019s beloved Decoy and Landon Knack\u2019s pooch Oli<\/a> were shared to Instagram by Knack\u2019s partner Anisa Herlinda Garcia.<\/p>\n Ohtani and Knack are in Glendale, Arizona, for spring training, but the two dogs seemed to get along well, with Garcia dubbing them \u201cbestie boys.\u201d<\/p>\n Garcia was able to get both dogs\u2019 attention for one photo, though Decoy seemed to lose focus before Oli.<\/p>\n As Oli continued to smile for the camera, Decoy became more focused on the other dog.<\/p>\n Garcia captioned that image with an emoji of a smiling face wearing a halo.<\/p>\n The Dodgers and Their Dogs<\/p>\n Ohtani may be among the prominent dog owners on the Dodgers, though he\u2019d eschew that characterization.<\/p>\n He\u2019s made it a point to clarify that he views Decoy as a family member, not a possession<\/a>, and he even wrote a book about his furry friend<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t look at Decoy like I\u2019m his owner, he\u2019s just we\u2019re friends, me and Decoy are friends, we\u2019re family,\u201d Ohtani told \u201cAccess Hollywood\u201d while promoting \u201cDecoy Saves Opening Day.\u201d The book was released earlier this month.<\/p>\n But Ohtani is far from being the only dog person in the Dodgers dugout.<\/p>\n In addition to Knack, World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto has a pup who\u2019s made headlines in his own right.<\/p>\n That dog scared off would-be burglars at Yamamoto\u2019s home when the team was out of town.<\/p>\n Bring Your Own Furry Friend to Dodger Stadium<\/p>\n If you also love dogs and baseball, keep an eye out for a Pups in the Park event.<\/p>\n The Dodgers have hosted such events, which allow fans to bring their dogs to a game, in previous seasons, and the results are as cute as you\u2019d expect<\/a>.<\/p>\n LA Baseball Report<\/p>\n Get the app for faster news<\/p>\n![\"Aug](\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/shohei-ohtani-dog-decoy.jpg\")
