The Giants don\u2019t play their first Cactus League game until Saturday, but many of Buster Posey\u2019s offseason additions have already made a strong impression in Scottsdale.<\/p>\n

Luis Arr\u00e1ez, who signed a one-year, $12 million deal, reported to the Arizona camp early and has focused on improving his defense at second base with infield coach Ron Washington. <\/p>\n

Harrison Bader, who joined the Giants on a two-year, $20.5 million contract, is eager to transform the weak outfield defense and play alongside Heliot Ramos and Jung Hoo Lee.<\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s Rafael Devers, who was acquired in a blockbuster trade last June but is spending the spring in Arizona for the first time in his MLB career. Devers doesn\u2019t view himself as a leader, but the Giants need the slugger to anchor their lineup if they hope to contend for a playoff berth.<\/p>\n
