FORT MYERS, Fla. \u2014 The Red Sox<\/a> open their Grapefruit League schedule Saturday with a 1:05 p.m. road game against the Twins across town at Hammond Stadium.<\/p>\n

Roman Anthony<\/a> will lead off for Boston. The Red Sox lineup also includes two offseason trade additions, Willson Contreras and Andruw Monasterio, and two free agent additions, Isiah Kiner-Falefa<\/a> and Brendan Rodgers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox acquired Contreras in a\u00a0trade with St. Louis on Dec. 21<\/a>. He\u2019s playing first base and batting cleanup. In January, manager Alex Cora identified Contreras as his cleanup hitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boston acquired Monasterio along with Caleb Durbin and Anthony Seigler<\/a> in a six-player trade<\/a> with the Brewers on Feb. 9. <\/p>\n

Monasterio will play third base and bat seventh. He\u2019s impressed Cora during camp.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see him from afar or whatever, but then you see him here, it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, shoot,\u2019\u201d Cora said earlier this week<\/a>. \u201cHe can move. He\u2019s versatile. He can hit lefties. Now we have to work with him because I think it\u2019s a different mindset offensively, what they do over there to what we do here. I truly believe that there\u2019s more from the three guys (acquired in the trade).\u201d<\/p>\n

The Red Sox signed Kiner-Falefa to a one-year, $6 million deal<\/a> and inked Rodgers to a minor league contract. Rodgers, who has right-handed power and 495 games of major league experience, has a real shot to make the Opening Day roster.<\/p>\n

Left-hander Payton Tolle<\/a> will start on the mound for Boston opposite Twins ace Joe Ryan.<\/p>\n

The game will air on NESN.<\/p>\n
