Since taking over in November 2023, he&#8217;s racked up a 190-134 record and transformed the Brewers into a National League powerhouse.&#8221;Pat Murphy has been an incredible partner and leader here for over a decade,&#8221; said Matt Arnold, the team&#8217;s president of baseball operations and general manager. &#8220;I&#8217;m thrilled that we have been able to come up with a framework that keeps Murph with the Brewers for years to come and maintains the special relationship that we have established. I look forward to continuing the pursuit of a World Series championship with Murph and his staff.&#8221;Last season was Milwaukee&#8217;s best ever. The Brewers won a franchise-record 97 games, topped the majors with their 97-65 mark and finally broke through in October, knocking off the rival Cubs in the NLDS for their first playoff series victory since 2018.It was the perfect encore to Murphy&#8217;s 93-win debut season in 2024, when he stepped out of Craig Counsell&#8217;s shadow after eight years as bench coach.The back-to-back Manager of the Year honors put Murphy in elite company.
