JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Red Wolves greats Liam Hicks and Tyler Zuber are teammates in Spring Training with the Miami Marlins.<\/p>\n

Liam Hicks (Marlins C\/1B)<\/p>\n

– 1 for 2, singled in 4th inning Sunday in spring opener.<\/a><\/p>\n

– Selected by Canada to play in 2026 World Baseball Classic<\/a><\/p>\n

– Hit .247 in his rookie season with 6 home runs and 45 RBI<\/p>\n

Tyler Zuber (Marlins P)<\/p>\n

– Struck out 3, allowed 1 walk Sunday in first appearance of the spring.<\/a><\/p>\n

– Earned non-roster invite<\/a> to Spring Training on January 29th.<\/p>\n

– Appeared in 10 games for the Mets and Marlins in 2025. 14 K in 12 innings of work, allowed 17 hits and 15 earned runs. Had stretch of 8 scoreless innings across 5 appearances in August.<\/p>\n
