After an up-and-down 2024, the former New York Mets prospect took a huge leap forward last season. Posting 31 homers, 95 runs batted-in, 91 runs, and 35 stolen bases. Furthermore, his slugging and OPS were up nearly .100 points from the previous season.

The outfielder went from a prospect with a lot of upside that the organization was still developing to an early MVP candidate in 2025. The 23-year-old has become the new face of the franchise, and unsurprisingly, he has been the top focus of the Chicago media at spring training. With that comes a lot of interviews ahead of the new season.

In a new conversation with Chicago Magazine, PCA spoke about his love for Chicago and its sports fans. While doing that, he took an interesting shot at one of his home-state teams. The current big bad of MLB, the LA Dodgers.

Pete Crow-Armstrong claims LA Dodgers fans are at games just to take pictures

Kiyoshi Mio-Imagn Images

“I love Chicago more and more,” Crow-Armstrong said. “It’s just an incredible city. The people are great. They give a shit. They aren’t just baseball fans who go to the game like Dodgers fans to take pictures and whatever. They are paying attention. They care.”

The comment will further endear him to Cubs fans, and his honesty is part of his unique charm. However, baseball fans in LA will surely circle the three-game set when Chicago visits Chavez Ravine in late April.

While the comments will sting, they aren’t necessarily unfounded. While there are millions of devoted Los Angeles sports fans, the group has always had a reputation for showing up late to games and having a very casual approach to how they love their teams.

After earning his journalism degree in 2017, Jason Burgos served as a contributor to several sites, including MMA Sucka … More about Jason Burgos

Pete Crow-Armstrong just gave Los Angeles Dodgers fans reason to make him public enemy No. 1 when the…

[2406
5,24,39,1165,4332,4333,774,57,3224,4331,4,35
0":"post-590356","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-dodgers","8":"tag-baseball","9":"tag-chicago-cubs","10":"tag-dodgers","11":"tag-la","12":"tag-la-dodgers","13":"tag-ladodgers","14":"tag-los-angeles","15":"tag-los-angeles-dodgers","16":"tag-losangeles","17":"tag-losangelesdodgers","18":"tag-mlb","19":"tag-pete-crow-armstrong
["GET
