Troubled actor Shia LaBeouf<\/a> has hit out at Dodger great Mike Piazza over claims the Baseball Hall of Famer refused to sign an autograph for him as a young fan.<\/p>\n

LaBeouf \u2014 who made headlines over his recent arrests for a Mardi Gras brawl in New Orleans<\/a> \u2014 opened up about his beef with the former MLB star during an interview that touched on the celeb\u2019s willingness to pose for photos for fans.<\/p>\n

Shia LaBeouf was interview on Channel 5 when he brought up his past interactions, or lack thereof, with Mike Piazza. Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan\/YouTube<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember trying to get Mike Piazza\u2019s autograph \u2014 motherf\u2013ker,\u201d the 39-year-old groused, claiming he was denied the player\u2019s signature \u201c90 times\u201d while attending Dodgers games as a kid.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrett Butler always signed. Hideo Nomo always signed. Mike Piazza, you\u2019re a bitch, bro.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The soundbite blew up on Dodger fans\u2019 social media, with some saying they had the same experience with the 12-time All-Star.<\/p>\n

Dodgers\u2019 Mike Piazza earned Rookie of the Year honors during his first year with the team and scored All-Star nods in his first five seasons playing in LA. ASSOCIATED PRESS<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a kid he was my favorite player until the day he turned me down for a ball signature. He lost a fan that day. Thankfully Brett Butler signed my ball,\u201d one commenter wrote on the Dodgers Nation Instagram account<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember waiting for Piazza after a game like 2 hours by players parking lot area,\u201d another chimed in. \u201cHe walked right by and I said Mike can I get an autograph and he said no. I\u2019m 48 now and still remember that. He was a punk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Others defended the longtime catcher, now aged 57, who earned Rookie of the Year honors during his first year with the Dodgers and scored All-Star nods in his first five seasons playing in LA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Post has contacted Piazza\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n

Pizza played in LA from 1992 to 1998 during a 16-year career that saw him inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 2016.<\/p>\n

He earned LA fans\u2019 ire back in 2013 for taking shots at legendary Dodgers sportscaster Vin Scully<\/a>, claiming the commentator tried to turn the town against him during contract negotiations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Piazza played for the LA Dodgers from 1992 to 1998. AP<\/p>\n

LaBeouf has a history of run-ins with the law, including arrests for battery and public intoxication.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Saturday, he was cuffed again in New Orleans<\/a> just one day after a new warrant for his arrest was issued.<\/p>\n
