{"id":604205,"date":"2026-03-03T19:56:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T19:56:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/604205\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T19:56:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T19:56:12","slug":"nppc-npb-select-pork-leadership-institute-class-of-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/604205\/","title":{"rendered":"NPPC, NPB Select Pork Leadership Institute Class Of 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nppc.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">National Pork Producers Council<\/a> (NPPC) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pork.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">National Pork Board<\/a> (NPB) has announced the Class of 2026 for the Pork Leadership Institute, selecting 19 people from across the country to participate in the yearlong leadership development program.<\/p>\n<p>The Class of 2026 includes:<\/p>\n<p>Iowa: Ryan Bartachek, Macie Reeb<br \/>\nIdaho: Rick Roper<br \/>\nIllinois: Emmalee Haege, Tyler Main<br \/>\nIndiana: Ethan Baldwin<br \/>\nMinnesota: Matt Boerboom<br \/>\nMissouri: Morgan Weinrich<br \/>\nMississippi: Donny Ray<br \/>\nNorth Carolina: Jennifer Hasty, Yolanda Castelo<br \/>\nNebraska: Austin Zimmerman<br \/>\nOhio: Kevin Stuckey, Stacey Voight<br \/>\nOklahoma: Suzanne Genova<br \/>\nPennsylvania: Kolton Reasy<br \/>\nSouth Dakota: Tanya Torguson<br \/>\nTennessee: Katie Sherman<br \/>\nTexas: Clay Eastwood<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we welcome the Class of 2026, it\u2019s exciting to see these producers stepping up to lead for their farms, their communities and the industry,\u201d said NPPC CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/nppc.org\/news\/introducing-the-pork-leadership-institute-class-of-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Bryan Humphreys<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pork Leadership Institute gives them the tools and know-how to tackle the challenges that really matter \u2013 from policy and trade to sharing the story of pork production with neighbors and lawmakers. These graduates are already in the trenches, and this program helps them roll up their sleeves even further to speak up for producers, strengthen their operations and keep the industry resilient for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The yearlong <a href=\"https:\/\/nppc.org\/get-involved\/education-programs\/pork-leadership-institute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Pork Leadership Institute program<\/a> features five intensive sessions covering critical industry knowledge and advocacy skills. Participants gain insight into federal legislative and regulatory processes, the importance of international trade, and the workings of national and state pork organizations.
