Across 46 games, he posted a .254 batting average, .369 on‑base percentage, .919 OPS, 12 home runs and 41 RBIs.

McGonigle is also off to a strong start this spring. In 17 plate appearances, he has collected six hits, two walks, an RBI and one stolen base.

The Tigers announced their Spring Breakout roster on Thursday, and McGonigle was one of the featured names.
