A\u2019s GM David Forst said the door is \u201calways open\u201d for Murray to explore playing baseball, once again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKyler is an elite NFL quarterback and I\u2019m sure there are plenty of opportunities for him to continue his football career,\u201d Forst said, via<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/news\/kyler-murray-released-a-s-open-to-reunion-with-former-first-round-draft-pick\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> MLB.com<\/a>. \u201cThat said, he and his baseball representatives know that we\u2019re always open to him exploring a return to baseball with the A\u2019s if that time ever comes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Rams traded the No. 29 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Chiefs in exchange for CB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McDuTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-05_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trent McDuffie<\/a>.
