LAKELAND, FL \u2013 The Detroit Tigers<\/a> reassigned three players to minor league camp and optioned two players to Triple-A Toledo on Friday, March 6, in the fourth round of spring training roster cuts, leaving leaving 53 players remaining in MLB camp (not including two players on the 60-day injured list).<\/p>\n

There are 20 days until Opening Day<\/a> on March 26.<\/p>\n

The five players: left-hander Jake Miller<\/a> and left-handed reliever Drew Sommers<\/a> were optioned to Triple-A, while catcher\/first baseman Josue Brice\u00f1o<\/a>, right-handed reliever Matt Seelinger<\/a> and outfielder Ben Malgeri<\/a> were reassigned to minor league camp.<\/p>\n
