For the past two seasons, the talent of Jordan Lawlar has never really been the question; the timing has been. Inside the organization and across the fanbase of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Lawlar represented the next wave. In Reno, his offensive profile showed a rare balance of contact ability, gap power, and baserunning instincts that forced pitchers and defenses to rush decisions.
